SAMPASA Inc. lends support to development efforts of System 3 Sports Academy
In acknowledgement of the contribution being made by the System 3 Sports Academy here in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), the St Martin’s Past Students Association- SAMPASA Inc. has provided the academy with a financial donation to assist in its programme.
Essentially, the donation is geared towards the academy’s tour to Carriacou and Canouan, from July 10 to 17, 2026.
President of SAMPASA Inc. Ivan Morgan, at a brief handing over of the donation on Monday, June 29, at the Richmond Hill Playing Field, lauded the hierarchy of the System 3 Sports Academy, which was founded in 1997 by Ian Sardine.
“They are giving young men and women opportunities to come into an academy where they learn not only the game but lessons in life. I know they get opportunities to go overseas to attend colleges and universities and…it has paid off,” Morgan said.
He further noted that: “A number of them have graduated with their bachelor’s, some with master’s and others may go on to get their PhD. Therefore, any opportunity other individuals and groups- give them your very best…”, Morgan implored.
System Three Sports Academy will take its Under-13 team to Carriacou from July, 10 to 12; then to Canouan from July 13 to 17, whilst the Under-15’s will be in Canouan from July 10 to 17.
While there, the teams will play football matches with their counterparts on these islands.
