System Three cements VSPL supremacy
THERE WAS NO easing up from System Three when they played their final match in the 2026 Vincy Soccer Premier League (VSPL)on Friday June 12, at the Brighton Technical Centre.
Facing Awesome in round 18 of the competition, System Three crowned their sojourn 3-2 win.
Gabriel Jackson left his best for last with two goals, and Jahvin Sutherland scored the other.
Chad Haynes score both goals for Awesome.
In the first of the double header on the night, Je Belle saw off BESCO- Pastures, 2-1. Sherwyn Alexander and Jimmel Lewis were Je Belle’s goal scorers, with D’ Nelson Lewis, converting for BESCOPastures.
There was a triple header on June 11, also at the Brighton Technical Centre.
First up, Hope International and Avenues United played to a nil-nil stalemate. Layou then swished Bequia United 7-1. Koby Mingot and Kennija Joseph with hat-tricks and Dequan Springer placed their names on the score sheet.
Mc Quinn Snagg scored for Bequia United.
North Leeward Predators got the better of Camdonia- Chelsea, 2-1.
Scoring for Predators were Aaden Charles and Naveed Williams, and for Camdonia- Chelsea, Reggie Barbour.
System Three topped the table with 42 points. Layou was second with 37 points, the same as third place Je Belle. However, Layou had a healthier goal difference.
North Leeward Predators docked fourth with 33 points, while Awesome’s 24 points saw them placing fifth.
In sixth position was Camdonia- Chelsea- 21 points, while Hope International finished seventh on 19 points.
BESCO- Pastures also accumulated 19 points but with an inferior goal difference to occupy eighth place.
Demoted are Bequia United who ended the tournament on 13 points; and Avenues United with 4 points.
