Afi Lucas is Tennis’ Last Man Standing Tennis champion
Afi Lucas defeated Venezuelan medical student Hernán Aranguren in the Last Man Standing Tournament held on May 24, 2026 at the National Tennis Centre, Villa.
An undertaking by the St Vincent and the Grenadines Tennis Association, Lucas was indeed the only player to have battle through the four phases of the one -point tournament.
His journey in order, saw him ousting Perezidah Griffth in the round of 16, before administering the same fate to Zayn Reece in the quarter final.
Lucas stopped Taj Ballantyne in the semi- finals. In the other half of the draw, Aranguren beat Martin Sheen, Sebastian Cyrus, and Zion Reece, before succumbing to Lucas in the final.
For winning the elimination tournament, Lucas pocketed $300, compliments the St Vincent and the Grenadines Tennis Association.
