TBPO Softball Cricket begins in earnest

DR.THOMAS INJECTORS, East Kingstown and AIA Reload, chalked up wins when the 2026 National Lotteries Authority TBPO competition began in earnest on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at the Dauphine Playing Field.

Dr Thomas injectors won by 96 runs over Vinlec Power Stars. Injectors batted first and made 202 for 5 in 15 overs; Bradly Richards 65, Keroy Roberts 52, and Israel Baptiste 50. Bowling for Vinlec Power Stars, John Penniston picked up 2 for 56.

Vinlec Power Stars reached 106 for 7 in 15 overs, with Kevin Small stroking 58.

Kentish Phillips 3 for 24, and Bradley Richards 2 for 2, were the most successful bowlers for Injectors.

In match two, East Kingstown defeated Duck Squad United by 74 runs.

East Kingstown posted 155 all out in 19 overs. Jerrel Edwards hit 47, Ian Bushay 27, and Darie Peters 24.

For Duck Squad,Venardo Primus took 3 for 14, Jabarri Guy 3 for 27 and Deon Soleyn 2 for 36.

In their turn at the crease Duck Squad United reach 81 all out in 15.1 overs.

Vincent Cupid made 26, while Alex Providence picked up 4 for 17, and Joel Gould 3 for 8.

And, AIA Reload won by 18 runs from Fairbaine United. AIA Reload tallied 146 for 8 in 15 overs, with Raffique Sayers 55, and Romano Peters 31 not out. Christon Williams grabbed 3 for 22, Benniton Stapleton 2 for 19, bowling for Fairbaine United whose reply was 128 for 7 in 15 overs. Tilron Harry top scored with 56, and Anthonio Barker made 18 not out Ian Gonsalves had 2 for 17, bowling for AIA Reload.
