TASVG hosts pre–Whitsuntide Development Meet

THE EXECUTIVE of Team Athletics SVG has answered the call and is giving local clubs a run out ahead of their departure for the 2026 Whitsuntide Games in Grenada.

The Development Meet takes place this Saturday, May 16,2026 from 10:00 a.m at the Sir Vincent Beache Stadium, Diamond.

A release from Team Athletics SVG states that the Meet is to give clubs, “an opportunity to get their athletes competition ready, for the 2026 Whitsuntide Games, scheduled for May 23-24, at the Kirani James Athletics Stadium, in St. George’s, Grenada”.

The release added that the Track and Field Meet will cater for athletes from the Under-11 age category to seniors.

Several clubs will be travelling to Grenada for the Games, and are expected to make a good showing.
