Unlimited Strikers cop inaugural Small Goal title in Spring Village
The yellow clad team representing Unlimited Strikers, was crowned inaugural champions of the Valley Bakers Bakery Six- a-side Small Goal Football Competition, played on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Ajuba Playing Field, Spring Village.
A 1-nil win over Valley Bakers Boys in the dying stages of a bruising contest, gave Unlimited Strikers the bragging rights, beverages, and $1,500 in cash.
The champions got to the final after eliminating Police Enforcers 3-1, while Valley Bakers Boys had a 1-0 win at
the expense of Man Dem in the 4-team competition.
Also crowned was the Player of the Day, Norris Samuel, of the winning unit, Unlimited Strikers.
The one-day competition was organized by Spring Village born Kesrick Williams, who made his name as a cricketer, representing St Vincent and the Grenadines, the Windward Islands, Combined Campuses and Colleges, West Indies, as well as several franchises here in the Caribbean, Nepal, Bangladesh, Canada, and elsewhere.
