Blue Marlins dips 40 medals at RHAC Championships
Ten swimmers from the Blue Marlins Swim Club of St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) brought home a medal haul from the 2026 edition of the Rodney Heights Aquatic Centre (RHAC) Invitational Championships, held in St. Lucia from April 9 to 12.
When the pool was closed and the medal count was completed, Blue Marlins finished with 17 gold, 10 silver and 13 bronze medals a total tally of 40.
Additionally, the club copped two age group titles. Belle Adams champed the Girls 13-14 age category, with a tally of 75 points. Adams secured five gold, one silver and one bronze. The other title that went Blue Marlins’ way, was attained by Tayeah St Hilaire whose 88 points placed her top of the Women 15-17 age category. St Hilaire gained nine gold medals and a solitary silver.
Meanwhile, Jod Baker was second in the Men 18 and over, as he gained 45 points.
Also gaining podium finishes were Skylar Byron and Jayce Thomas, who both placed third in their respective categories.
Byron compiled 62.50 points in the Girls 11-12, and Thomas tallied 38 points, as he swam in the 8 and Under.
Blue Marlins was also represented by Zoey May, Saj Caesar, Valentino Esposito, Saige Jobe, and Raya Adams.
Blue Marlins placed fifth overall with 388 points of the 31 clubs that competed. Apart from Blue Marlins, St Vincent and the Grenadines was represented by the Black Sands Swim Squad and first timers- H2o Lions Swim Academy.
