Barrouallie sweeps both All Leeward Relay titles

THE BARROUALLIE GOVERNMENT School, and the Barrouallie Secondary School ran away winners of the 2026 All Leeward Relay Classic held last Sunday, February 1, 2026 at Independence Park, formerly Victoria Park. The 36 events,witnessed by scores of cheering spectators, spurred the competing athletes as they pitted their abilities against each other.

The Secondary Schools Division title was won by the Barrouallie Secondary School Warriors with a total of 244 points.

They had victories in the Boys 4X100 meter relay juniors; the Boys 4X100 metre relay intermediate; Boys 1000-metre Swedish medley intermediate; Boys 4X100 metre relay Seniors; and Boys distance medley Secondary School Open.

In second place was the Troumaca-Ontario Secondary School Mustangs with 214 points; and third was the Bethel High School Alphas with a total of 180 points; with the Petit Bordel Secondary School Giants bring up the rear

on 116 points. In the Primary Schools Division, the Barrouallie Government School placed first, amassing a total of 262 points.The won the Boys 4X50 metre shuttle relay Under-7, Boys 4X150-metre relay Under-11; the mixed 4X200 metre relay Under-11; the mixed 4X200 metre relay Under-13, and the mixed 4X200 metre relay Juniors. The Chateaubelair Methodist School took the second place with 204 points; Layou Government School was third with a total of 200 points; and fourth place was taken by the Questelles Government School with 188 points.
