WINLOTT Windwards U-15 Super-50 Tournament underway in Grenada
THE WINDWARD ISLANDS Cricket Board (WICB) made another date change to the 2025 WINLOTT Windwards Under-15 Super-50 Tournament, and it is now underway in Grenada. The tournament was first rescheduled to December 6-15 in Grenada, and due to inclement weather again had a date change to December 9 –14, 2025.
The tournament is showcasing the next generation of cricketing talent across the Windward Islands; and is also one of the main selection benchmarks for the Windward Islands team that will compete in the prestigious 2026 CWI Rising Stars Under-15 Championship, held annually during the Easter period, a release from the Windwards Board states.
The release notes that the WINLOTT Inc Windwards Under-15 Tournament has produced many of the Windward Islands’ finest cricketers, and its success is directly tied to WINLOTT Inc’s generous and long-standing investment in youth development. President of the Windward Islands Cricket Board, Clement Marcellin said, “We are sincerely grateful for their continued support, which allows us to nurture the next generation of Windwards talent” .
WINLOTT Executive Director, Allison Thomas, said, “WINLOTT once again extends its full support and blessings to this important developmental tournament. We congratulate all participating teams and wish every young cricketer an enjoyable, competitive, and rewarding experience”.
The tournament was originally slated for St Lucia, but was shifted to Grenada due to venue challenges ahead of general elections that took place in St Lucia on December 1, 2025. Dominica are defending champions.
