National Basketball Championships to kick off in November

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Basketball Federation (SVGBF) opens the National Basketball Championship, on Saturday, November, 1, 2025 at the New Montrose Hard Court.
The Championship will run for four weeks in two main categories:

A Senior Division 5V5; and Under 17 Division 3X3.
The championship is open to teams from all communities and registered clubs across St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the SVGBF said in a release. Fixtures will be released pending team registrations.

Each Senior Division teams entering the championship will pay $200; while those in the Under 17 Division will pay $10 per player. Interested teams are asked to contact the Federation for registration forms and further details.

The Federation is promising that players and fans alike can look forward to SVG’s biggest basketball event of the year with competitive matches, cash prizes, giveaways and an eclectic atmosphere.

There is a $3 entrance fee for children and $5 for adults.
