School sports gets going today

The 2025 – 2026 St. Vincent and the Grenadines Inter-Primary and Inter- Secondary Schools Sports Programme gets going today, Friday, October 10, 2025 with four matches at the Kingstown Netball Centre and the Glenside hard courts, respectively.

The Dr. J.P Eustace Memorial Secondary School and the St. Joseph’s Convent, Kingstown, will get the ball moving when their school teams meet in junior and senior division clashes at 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., respectively.

At the same times -1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.- the Emmanuel High School, Mesopotamia will battle the Thomas Saunders Secondary School in junior and secondary school division match-ups at the Glenside courts. The Thomas Saunders Secondary School are the defending senior secondary schools netball champions, and the Girls’ High School are the defending Junior netball champions.

Then on Sunday, October, 12, 2025, secondary school football kicks off with two major clashes at Victoria Park. First, in the junior division, the Central Leeward Secondary School takes on the St. Martin Secondary School at 4:00 p.m.,then at 5:15 p.m., these two schools will battle each other in the senior division.

The Central Leeward Secondary School are the Inter-Secondary Schools junior and senior division defending champions, having won the titles on December, 8, 2024.
