Out Ah Trouble retain TBPO Softball Cricket title

GURUS OF local Softball Cricket, Country Meet Town Out Ah Trouble retained their National Lotteries Authority TBPO 20/20 title on Sunday, August 24, 2025 when they won the 2025 edition.

A 28-run win over Kombat Warriors at the Dauphine Playing Field, gave Out Ah Trouble another lien as they continue to accumulate title after title.

Out Ah Trouble posted 184 for 8 in their 20 overs, with Stein Joseph scoring 40, and Renrick Williams, 29.

Bowling for Kombat Warriors, Marlon Farrell had 2 for 46, and Kerwin Browne 2 for 50.

Kombat Warriors fell for 156 for 4 in their 20 overs.

Donalson Harry, 37 not out; Britnol Scott, 35; Romano Pierre, 27 not out; and Marcus Hackshaw, 27; made a valiant attempt in response, but fell short.

Davian Barnum, 2 for 39, was Out Ah Trouble’s most successful bowler.

One day before Sunday’s showdown, Out Ah Trouble had defeated Sion Hill Tallawahs by 37 runs.

Jabarri Cunningham slammed 88; Richie Richards, 39; and Sunil Ambris 23 to see Out Ah Trouble to 181 for 4 from 20 overs.

Shamic Roberts, 2 for 48, was the lead bowler for Sion Hill Tallawahs, who responded with 144 all out in 19.2 overs.

Shamic Roberts hit 46, and Osnet Cato, 47, as Out Ah Trouble’s bowlers Deron Strough, 2 for 17;

Richie Richards, 2 for 22; and Asif Hoope,r 2 for 26, entered another place in the final.

Meanwhile, Kombat Warriors eked out a 2-run win over Fairbaine United, in Saturday’s other semi-final game.

Kombat Warriors batted first and made 173 for 7 in 20 overs. Romano Pierre scoring 83, and Marcus Hackshaw, 34.

Bowling for Fairbaine United, Christon Williams took 2 for 20.

Fairbaine United reached 171 for 9 in 20 overs, with Tilron Harry and Andrew Glasgow, each scoring 49.

Romano Pierre, 3 for 20, and Kerwin Browne, 2 for 52, were the main wicket takers for Kombat Warriors. Fairbaine United went on to take the third place.

The intended play-off saw Fairbaine United winning by default, as Sion Hill Tallawahs arrived late to the venue.
