Pierre repeats TBPO Softball MVP accolade

FOR THE SECOND YEAR running, Kombat Warriors’ Romano Pierre has copped the Most Valuable Player award in the National Lotteries Authority TBPO Softball Cricket Competition.

When the 2025 edition ended last Sunday, August 24,2025 at the Dauphine Playing Field , Pierre was the standout, as he earned the Most Runs award for his 498 aggregate. Among Pierre’s runs tally were two centuries- 100 not out, and 110 not out.

Additionally, Pierre hit the most sixes- 58 . Not done, Pierre pouched 13 wickets to the good.

Earning the most wickets accolade was Out Ah Trouble’s Richie Richards who accounted for 16 scalps.

Other awardees were the bowlers who had fivers, in Jabari Guy of Duck Squad United(5 for 39), Alex Providence of East Kingstown( 5 for 28), Kelique Samuel- Bank of SVG All Stars (5 for 7), and Out Ah Trouble’s Asif Hooper (6 for 27).

Apart from Pierre, who had two triple figure scores, the other centurions were Kombat Warriors’ Desron Maloney, 142; Shamic Roberts of Sion Hill Tallawahs, 102; Andrew Glasgow of Fairbaine United,101 not out; and Jabari Cunningham of Out Ah Trouble, 101 not out.
