Blue Marlins aiming for third hold on title in Gallagher Invitational 4-day Swim meet in SVG

The Shrewsbury Aquatic Centre (SAC) located at Ratho Mill, will host the SVG Gallagher Invitational Swim Championships from this Thursday, February 20, to Sunday, February 23, 2025.

The splash gets going at 6:00 p.m on Thursday and Friday. On Saturday, the morning sessions get going at 10:30, and the evening session- 6:00 p.m.

Action culminates on Sunday with competition beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Apart from the local clubs-Black Sands Swim Squad (BSSS) and Blue Marlins Swim Club, as well as unattached swimmers, regional clubs are expected to join in the four days of competition.

At stake are titles in the 8 and Under; 9-10; 11-12; 13-14; and 15 and Over individual champions for both genders, along with the 8 and Under; 9-12; and Over 13 Sprint Challenge champions.

Blue Marlins are aiming for a three-peat, having won in 2023 and 2024.
