SVG Under-17 Male footballers in Guatemala

A 21-member St Vincent and the Grenadines Male Under-17 team has travelled to Guatemala to contest Group E of the Concacaf Qualifiers.

They will go into action today, Tuesday, February 11, 2025, versus Haiti, at the Estadio Cementos Progreso, seeking the Group E top place and a direct ticket to the Fifa World Cup finals.

The team is Denish Grant, David Butler, Thomas Lewis, Joenaldo Payne, (captain), Jaymor Williams, Campden Bishop,Kevonte Clarke, Jauri Chance, Cody Lavia, Alexis Malcolm, Matthew Joseph, Elijah Neil, Shane Glasgow, Shaquan Hooper, Romel Dickson, Tyler Lewis, Malachi Mc Master, Javier Friday, Zibeon Cunningham, Vaocasel Paul – Soleyn and Ashford Grant- Spring.

The Technical staff comprises Ralph Stowe, Marlon James, Javar Francis, Kenyon Lynch and Dennis Samuel. The travelling party is completed by Zeffie Morgan, the manager and Executive member, Dominique Stowe.

Following their opening salvo with Haiti, the Vincentians play host Guatemala on Thursday, February 13, 2025 and two days later meet Antigua and Barbuda.

The Under-17 male qualifiers consist eight groups, with the group winners gaining automatic places in the FIFA World Cup Final.
