Twenty- six named for CNL final matches

Twenty- six players have been named to the St Vincent and the Grenadines Senior Men’s Football team- Vincy Heat, as the unit makes a final push in the November window of Group A, League B of the Concacaf Nations League (CNL).

The team which has travelled to El Salvador are goalkeepers- Josh Stowe, Lemus Christopher and Samir Bristol; with the defenders- Jamol Yorke, Tristan Marshall, Jazzi Bobb, Chevron Mc Lean, Najima Burgin, Brandon John, Joseph Barter and Mikeal Williams.

Stacking up the midfield are Sebastian Alexander, Bishon Richards, Shakeem Adams, Kyle Edwards, Addeen Charles, Micah Joseph, Diel Spring, Sherwyn Alexander, Kennijha Joseph and Tre Crosby; and, the strikers making the trip are Cornelius Stewart, Malcolm Stewart, Oalex Anderson, Steven Pierre,Oryan Velox, Kirtney Franklyn and Azhino Solomon.

The Vincentian outfit will meet Montserrat and Bonaire on November 14, 2024, and November 17, 2024, respectively at the Estadio Cuscatlan, in El Salvador.

Vincy Heat sits on seven points from their four matches, played in the September and October windows.

Their tale shows a 1-1 draw versus Bonaire and a 2-0 triumph over Montserrat in the September window, whilst losing to El Salvador 2-3, but turning the tables against the Salvadorians 2-1, during the October window.

Host, El Salvador heads the group with nine points, with Bonaire on four points and Montserrat, three points.

Like, St Vincent and the Grenadines, El Salvador will meet Bonaire and Montserrat, in matches set for November 14 and November 17, in that order. At stake for the teams, is a promotion to League A of the next CNL, as well as a berth in the Concacaf Gold Cup.

The winner of the group gets the coveted position.
