Renrick Williams slams ton in Masters Cricket

Renrick Williams reeled off 112 not out to lead the batting for North East last Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the Park Hill Playing Field in the SVG Masters 20/20 Cricket Competition.

Williams’ knock, along with valuable contributions from Deighton Butler-52 not out, Vasco Sampson- 42, and Romel Ollivierre- 23, saw North East to 268 for 4 from their 20 overs versus North Windward.

Dalton Michael who scalped 2 for 37, and Wendell Jordan 2 for 45, were North Windward’s most successful bowlers.

In reply, North Windward scored 105 all out off 16.5 overs. Daree Roberts made 22. Emron Lorraine 3 for 13; Hollis John 3 for 22; and Lenroy Brewster 2 for 18 bowled North East to their whopping 163 runs win.

At the Sion Hill Playing Field, another former winner of the competition, Mustique Company Masters had a more than comfortable eight wicket triumph over Sion Hill.

Ashley Cordice’s 30 was the top score in Sion Hill’s innings of 117 for 8 from their 20 overs. Sylvester Vanloo and Edgerton Medford each contributed 18.

Drumo Toney picked off 3 for 27; Caswell Dorsette scalped 2 for 19; and Joseph Medford had 2 for 24.

Mustique Company Masters then took 9.1 overs to reach 118 for 2. Nicholas Baptiste, 44; former West Indies wicketkeeper/batter, Chadwick Walton, 24; and Ceron Padmore, 20 not out were the top scorers for Mustique Masters.
