Vincy Sailors host successful Youth National Championships

VINCY SAILING successfully hosted the St Vincent and the Grenadines Sailing Association Youth National Championships over the weekend of October 5 and 6, 2024, at Coconut Grove Beach Club and races held in the calm waters of Calliaqua Bay. In the ILCA6 category, first was Scarlett Hadley, with Logan Banfield second, and Jamark Osbourne third.

Kai Marks- Dasent took the ILCA4 class, ahead of Joseph Hadley, and third was Jardel Osbourne.

Placing first in the Open Skiff was Joshua Weinhardt. Second was Jordi Lewis and third was Kyandra Ashton.

Meanwhile, Ira Hadley took the Optimist category, leaving Madison Allcock to dock second. Each class completed 11 races.
