Vincentian athletes pouch four medals at Martinique Championships

All six Vincentian athletes who competed at the Regroupment Athletique du Nord (RAN) Meet in Martinique on Wednesday May 8, 2024, returned with medals.

They tallied four medals- one gold, one silver and two bronze, as they contested the Under-17 component of the Championships held at the Complexe Sportif Michel-Thalmency.

Topping the list was Kenisha Richards who won the 100m.

Taking silver was Shykeina Francis, who placed second in the 400m.

The two bronze medals were copped by Jeremy Martin, who finished third in the 400m and the mixed relay team, comprising Serani Roban, Alia Mc Dowall, Shykeina Francis and Nasari Nash.

The six athletes were accompanied by Manager/chaperone, Delcia Stay-Layne and head coach, Rawlson Morgan.
