Fancy are new champs of Police Youth Club Netball

Fancy Police Youth Club are the new champion of the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force – Police Youth Clubs (PYC) Inter-club Netball Competition. They defeated the Owia Police Youth Club 30 goals to 11 in a rather lopsided final played on Sunday March 10, 2024 at the Nutricia Netball Court, New Montrose.

Chateaubelair PYC defeated Stubbs/ Diamond PYC 39 goals to 5 goal in the third-place match.

A total of 16 teams participated in the competition which was divided into four zones.

During the closing and prize-giving ceremony, brief remarks were delivered by president of the SVG Netball Association, Natasha

Baptiste, facilities manager at the National Sports Council, Marvin Fraser, and president of the SVG Police Cooperative Credit Union, Brenton Smith.
