Table Tennis Association releases players’ rankings

The St Vincent and the Grenadines Table Tennis Association (SVGTTA) has announced the individual players’ rankings as of December 31, 2023.

Shanecia Delpesche of Adams Table Tennis Club(ATTC) is the top-ranked Under-19 girls player, with Jessica Mc Carter of Spencer’s Table Tennis Club (STTC) and Leah Cumberbatch, also of STTC second and third, respectively.

Caleb Howard of JD’s heads the male Under-19 age group. Trailing Howard is Zayden Cyrus of Sean Stanley Table Tennis Academy(STTA) and Macahalie Hazelwood of STTC.

Loukhya Premraj of STTC is the number one in the Pre-Cadets Girls, as well as the Cadets Girls Under-15.

Second to Premraj in the Pre-Cadets is Mikayla Harry and third, Kimora Philbert, both of ATTC.

In the Cadets, after Premraj, is Monecia John (STTC) with ATTC’s Mikayla Harry, next.

Meanwhile, Lamont Gregg of STTC is the Cadets Boys number one, with Zayden Cyrus of SSTTA second and Kimorni Shoy of ATTC, third.

In the Pre-Cadets Boys category, STTC’s Oran-Jay Williams is the leading player, with his clubmate Kalique Williams second, and third is Kaiden James of SSTTA.

STTC’s Leah Cumberbatch is the top women’s player. Second is Delpesche and third, Mc Carter.

And, Damion Dublin of JD’s is the top seeded men’s player. Sean Stanley of SSTTA is next, while Caleb Howard rounds off the top three.

The rankings were based on the National Table Tennis Championships that were held in October and November, 2023.
