More Table Tennis titles decided

Four titles were decided last Saturday, November 11, as the St Vincent and the Grenadines Table Tennis Association, sought to conclude its National Championships at the West St George Secondary School’s Auditorium.

Taking the Junior Girls title was Shanecia Delpesche, who beat Jessica McCarter three games to one. Delpesche won 9/11 11/7,  11/8 , 11/9.

Across the gender, Caleb Howard saw off Zayden Cyrus three games to luv: 11/4, 11/6, 11/8, to champ the Junior Boys.

Winning the Mixed Doubles were Damion Dublin and Unica Velox , who defeated Mikael Hazelwood and Jessica McCarter two games to luv , trumping 11/5 ,11/5.

And, Damion Dublin and Caleb Howard beat Tykel Pierre and Mikael Hazelwood, two games

to luv; 11/6 , 11/6, to pouch the doubles.

The rest of the finals were short circuited, after a power outage in the area, forced organisers to defer the men’s and women’s singles titles.

These finals were set to convene on Monday, November 13.
