Fuzion Tennis Academy impacts St Lucia tourney

Five members of the Fuzion Tennis Academy made good of their participation in the Sagicor Invitational Tennis Tournament from August 4- 11, at the St Lucia National Tennis Centre.

Danelle Kennedy was the losing finalist in the Girls Under-12 singles, beaten by Suri Ramcharan of Trinidad and Tobago, 1-4, 5-3, 4-2.

Kennedy and Ramcharan however combined to claim the doubles title.

Meanwhile, Matthew Clarke had a 4-2, 4-2 win over St Lucia’s Tahl Goodman in the Boys Under-12 Consolation final.

The others who represented the Fuzion Tennis Academy were Ethan Kent, who competed in the main draw, while Krish Puga and Nathaniel Lawrence were the losing doubles finalists.

Participation also came from young players from Barbados and Grenada.
