Richland Park Netball begins in earnest this weekend

The 2023 Tus-T Water/Smalta Richland Park Netball Competition begins in earnest this Saturday, July 29, at the Richland Park Government School hard court with a double header.

The opening salvo pits 3J’s Valley Strikers against VSport Youths in the Junior Division from 4:00 p.m, to be followed by defending champions, TCCU Star Girls against National Properties Netters, starting at 5:00 p.m.

Then on Sunday, another two matches are carded in the senior division, as High Park United takes on RSVG Police Elite from 4:30 p.m; then Vultures meet Netters from 5:30 p.m.

Five teams in the Senior Division and five in the Junior Division, are registered to participate in this year’s Competition.

JLC Warriors, Conquerors and BA Strikers, complete the entrants in the Junior Division.

A formal opening of the competition took place on July 16, with the start of matches originally carded for July 22.

However, the start was delayed because of restorative work on the road leading to Richland Park that was planned for July 22 and 23.
