SVG Special Olympians win bronze medal in swimming at World Games

Krista Bynoe earned St Vincent and the Grenadines their first medal, a bronze, when she placed third on Wednesday, June 21, in the women’s 25 metres breaststroke at the Special Olympics World Games in Berlin, Germany.

Bynoe, along with Walsh Ollivierre and Json Williams are the three swimmers among the nine athletes who are representing St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG).

Apart from Swimming, SVG is participating in Track and Field, and Tennis.

The Track and Field athletes are Presley Peters and Jason Browne, while the quartet of Natasha Doyle, Utica Smith, Andrick Arthur and Teron Hull are competing for honours in Tennis.

The Games come to a close, this Sunday, June 25.
