SVG Football Federation saddened over death of Lorenzo DeShong

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation (SVGFF) said it is deeply saddened by the events of Saturday November 5, 2022 which resulted in the death of Sharpes FC manager, Lorenzo ‘Scene’ Deshong.

In a release the Federation said that Lorenzo took over management of the Club in 2020 after injury left him unable to participate with the club as a player. He is the son of past national goalkeeper, and current national coach, Urtis ‘Duts’ Blackette.

The SVGFF fraternity extends heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, his club and teammates of Lornezo at this most difficult time, the release states.

The Federation also expressed its abhorrence to all acts of violence in our society.
