K&R Strikers and Rocksdale stay perfect in National Club Championships

K& R STRIKERS AND Rocksdale remained unbeaten after three rounds of competition in the Second Division of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation’s National Club Championships.

When matches were played last Saturday, October 15, K& R Strikers defeated Green Hill, 1-0 at the Campden Park Playing Field.

Saturday’s win added to previous triumphs over Sharpes FC, 1-0, and Toni Stores Jugglers, 3-0.

Meanwhile, Rocksdale built on their 3-1 win over Strike Force in round one, and 6-0 bashing of Toni Stores Jugglers in their second, by registering a 1-0 win over the RSVG Police at the Richmond Hill Playing Field.

In other results last Saturday, Brownstown beat Toni Store Jugglers 5-0; 1998 Hillside Rollers edged out DESCO 3-2 in matches played at the Brighton Playing Field.

And, at the Golden Grove Playing Field, Strike Force defeated Sharpes 09, three-nil.

The leading goal scorer thus far is Devonte Frederick of Rocksdale who has four goals.

He is trailed by Jason Parsons of Green Hill and Chrislet Ballantyne of DESCO, who both have three goals apiece.

Matches this Saturday, October 22 pit Rocksdale against Green Hill at Campden Park; 1998 Hillside Rollers and Sharpes FC meet at Richmond Hill; while Toni Stores Jugglers oppose DESCO at the Chili Playing Field.

RSVG Police face off against Strike Force at Brighton, with Brownstown and K& R Strikers clashing Layou, and at Golden Grove, Hill View takes on Sharpes 09.

All matches are set to begin at 4:00 p.m.
