SVG Squash Association to observe World Squash Day 2022

The St Vincent and the Grenadines Squash Association (SVGSA) will join other member associations around the world in observing World Squash Day tomorrow, October 15.

The day’s activities will begin with the Junior Development Programme, slated for 9:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m.

Then from 4:00 p.m, the SVGSA will host an Introduction to Squash activity, which is open to the general public.

Accordingly, the association has announced that the introduction session is open to all ages as coaches will be on hand to give anyone willing fundamental tips on the sport. Persons will be required to wear non- marking shoes.

Then, from 4:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m, there will be a series of singles and doubles exhibition matches.

The day’s events will culminate with the live viewing of the US Open Finals.

All activities are slated to take place at the National Squash Centre at Paul’s Avenue.
