All Stars and Out Ah Trouble play in Greiggs T/10 final

Bank of SVG All Stars and Country Meet Town Out Ah Trouble Family will clash this Sunday at the Greiggs Central Playing Field in the Caesar’s Real Estate/ Hairoun Beer/ Nar Fren Dem Greiggs T/10 Softball Cricket Competition.

The two earned the right to do so, following semi-final wins last Sunday, July 17.

All Stars had a 23-run win over Israel Bruce Smashers.

All Stars batted first and accumulated 83/3 from their 10 overs; Lenroy Dalzell – 49 not out.

Bowling for Smashers, Cody Jarvis picked off 3/15.

In reply, Smashers fell short, hemmed in at 60/6 from their allotment of overs.

Keno Matthews was the lead batter for Smashers, posting 27. Dalzell followed up his batting heroics with 2/14 and Rasheed Fredericks had 2/15.

But it was a more commanding 62 run triumph for Out Ah Trouble over RSVG Police.

Led by Renrick Williams 51, Out Ah Trouble got to 105/4 from their 10 overs. The most successful bowler for the lawmen was Osrick James who scalped 2/15.

RSVG Police was then dismissed for 43 in 9.4 overs, as Davian Barnum took 3/5 and Travis Cumberbatch captured 3/7.

Sunday’s final bowls off at 4 pm. Two hours earlier, Smashers and RSVG Police will battle for the third place.
