Police Two dethrones Saints to win T/20 cricket title

POLICETWO ROMPED to a 69-run victory over Guardian General Saints, last Sunday, July 10, at the Sion Hill Playing Field to take the 2022 Neil Williams T/20 cricket title.

Police Two, on the back of 94 fourth wicket alliance between guest player Dillon Douglas and Desron Maloney, scored 206/ 8 from their 20 overs.

Douglas struck 5 fours and 6 sixes, in his 67, while Maloney creamed 7 fours and 3 sixes, as he punched in 65.

Rayon Williams, with 4/22, was Saints’ most successful bowler.

Saints’ batting, minus their fulcrums – Sunil Ambris and Rommel Currency, faltered for 137 all out from 19.4 overs. Seon Sween – 32 was Saints’ topscorer.

Bowling for Police Two, Romario Bibby grabbed 2/12 and Dillon Douglas-2/31.
