Fast – 5 Netball Tournament concludes on Thursday

The wrap will be placed on the Flow/ Bank of SVG Fast- 5 Netball Tournament this Thursday, June 16 with the staging of the finals of Division One at the Kingstown Netball Centre from 5:00 p.m.

Seeking top honours are defending champions, On Trac X- Ceed and Mitres. Heading into Thursday’s finals, X- Ceed sits on eight points.

However Mitres has a match in hand versus Maple Netball Club to be played today, June 14 leading up to Thursday’s finals

The other teams which contested Division One are National Properties Netters, RSVG Police Sports Club and Clinchers, who ended on four, two and zero points, respectively.

The On Trac X-Ceed team will be looking to do the double, as they have also taken the Division Two title. That unit played unbeaten to finish the five -team race on eight points ahead of Sion Hill Sports Club in second place with six points.

SVG General Services Maple ended on four points; Future Stars, two points; and Success Netters, no points.

Following Thursday’s finals, the presentation and closing ceremony will take place.
