Teams positioning in Greiggs T/10 Softball Cricket

CLINCHERS, RSVG Police, Fairbairn United and OTR Blazers all won their matches last Sunday, May 22 at the Greiggs Central Playing Field as the Caesar&# 39’s Real Estate/ Hairoun Beer/Nar Fren-Dem Greiggs T/10 Softball Cricket competition continued .

Clinchers beat Sugar Boys by 20 runs. Clinchers reached 96/6 from their 10 overs. Keyno Browne- 20 not out. Linron Prince took 2/0 and Liam Johnson 2/23. Sugar Boys responded with 76/ 6 in their 10 overs. J’ Var Francis- 22. Okeito Williams took 2/9 and Kelique Peters- 2/14, restricted Sugar Boys’ response.

RSVG Police then outplayed Kombat Warriors by 57 runs. RSVG Police posted 128/ 4 from 10 overs.

Ronald Scott- 67 and Okeiph Andrews- 44.

Kombat Warriors replied with 71/7 from their allotted overs, despite Trevin Baptiste’s 44.

Bowling for RSVG Police, Winston Samuel had 2/12 and Leroy Baptiste- 2/32.

Next to join Sunday’s winners was Fairbairn United, with a five wicket triumph over Owia. Osnet Cato top scored with 26 in Owia’s total of 109/7 from 10 overs. Bowling for Fairbairn United, Adolph Adams had 2/14 and Kentish Phillips- 2/19.

Kentish Phillips showed his all-round prowess, lashing 57 not out to see Fairbairn United to 114/5.

Allison Lavia picked off 2/12, bowling for Owia.

Finally, OTR Blazers registered an eight wicket win over Israel Bruce Smashers Inc. Batting first, Smashers crawled to 51/7 from their 10 overs, as Shawn Phillips took 2/11. OTR Blazers-53/2 in just 3.1 overs led by Dillon Douglas’ 36.

Another four matches are carded for this Sunday, May 29. From 11:45 a.m Dr. Thomas Injectors faces Kombat Warriors; Owia and Clinchers oppose each other from 1:45 p.m, while from 3:30 p.m, Bank of SVG All Stars meet Fairbairn United. And, OTR Blazers face CMT Out Ah Trouble from 4:30 p.m.
