Verbeke House triumphs in SMSS road relay

Verbeke House (Red) champed the St Martin’s Secondary School (SMSS) road relay title, staged last Monday.

The four leg relay saw Verbeke clocking 30:40. Second was Tim Daisley House ( Yellow) in 31:14.

Justin House ( Green), in a time of 34:02 placed third.

Brother Roberts House (Blue), did not complete the course.

The road relay took the athletes from Wilson Hill through Kingstown Park, Block 2000, the Leeward Highway and Stoney Grounds, and back to the start line at Wilson Hill.

The St Martin’s Secondary School will host its Inter- House Athletics Meet on March 4, at the Arnos Vale Playing Field.
