Reeves House take 2022 KCCU, SVGS Road Relay title

Reeves House are proving that they “Must Win”, as they captured the 2022 edition of the Kingstown Co-operative Credit Union’s (KCCU), St. Vincent Grammar School Road Relay held on Tuesday 1 February, 2022.

Adopting a new route, from the school on the E.T Joshua Tarmac along the Vigie Highway, pass the round- about and back to the school through the E.T Joshua by-pass; it was the six athletes of Reeves House who were able to keep at length their rivals from Lopey House to claim the top spot, leaving Lopey to settle for second. 

It was a tale of two halves as Millar House and Crick House were far behind their compatriots. Millar House did well to even lap the Crick House contingent to finish third. 

Crick House, however can still celebrate as their anchor leg athlete Pearce Henry, showed tremendous sportsmanship, pride and grit as he went on the route solely and perhaps ran the fastest split time of all the other participants to finish the event commendably. 

The St. Vincent Grammar School wishes to extend its gratitude to the KCCU for their continued support and looks forward to strengthening their existing bond.
