SVGCC six- a -side competition heats up

The French Verandah National Lotteries Authority St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College six-a-side football competition is heating up.

When the last round of matches took place last Friday at the Villa Campus field, Je Belle Youths, Division of Technical and Vocational Education Year Two and Volcanoes team two, all registered wins.

Jebelle Youths had the better of the Division of Arts, Sciences and General Studies Year Two 7-3.

Trezine DaSouza and Kenyon Baptise, both struck hat-tricks and Jeffon Collins scored the other.

The goals for DASGS Year Two came from Delpiero Samuel, who had a brace, and Brandon Joseph netted the other.

Meanwhile, Division of Technical and Vocational Education Year Two, outstripped Teachers Combined 2-1. A goal each from Jamal Creese and Yohance Dennis were on target for the victors. Antonio Rodney responded for the Teachers Combined.

And, Volcanoes team two edged out All Saints Medical 3-2. A goal each from Agustus Adams, Jeovanni Enville and Devonte Collis accounted for Volcanoes team two’s tally. The two goals for All Saints Medical Team One came from Promise Okereke and Isreal Okolie.

Four matches are carded for today. DTVE Year Two take on Central Leeward Secondary School, to be followed by DASGS Year Two versus Volcanoes Team One. Then, Volcanoes Team Two entertain Teachers Combined and All Saints Medical Two face Jebelle Youths.
