SVGTTA donates, places table tennis boards at institutions

THE ST VINCENT and the Grenadines Table Tennis Association (SVGTTA) donated two table tennis boards at the West St George Secondary School, one to the SVG Community College and the Romano Spencer Academy and placed a tennis board at the Arygle International Airport (AIA).

In addition to the donations and placement of the boards, the SVGTTA also presented them with a quantity of balls and rackets.

According to president of the SVGTTA Orville Haslam, the donations and placements of the table tennis boards, “are in keeping with our mandate to spread the sport throughout St Vincent and the Grenadines”.

Haslam noted that the donations and placement, were done in collaboration with the Vincy Table Tennis Foundation.

“As president, I feel that table tennis is in good hands… Our intention going forward will be Sport For Life,” Haslam related.
