Richland Park netball title stays at home
High Park United stayed champions of the Valley Sports Committee’s Richland Park Area Competition, when they beat Keebez Vulturez 68-60, in last Sunday’s final at the Richland Park hard court.
In keeping the title in the valley, High Park played undefeated throughout.

High Park, after being unblemished in the preliminary, took on 3 J’s Valley Strikers in the last four, and outpowered their opponents 38-25.
Meanwhile, the reinforced Vultures edged out TCCU Star Girls 48-47, in the other semi-finals.
In the third place playoff that preceded Sunday’s final, TCCU Star Girls saw off 3 J’s Valley Strikers 34-18.
Shania Pompey of 3 J’s Valley Strikers was adjudged the most promising young player, while Skiddy Francis of High Park United topped the goal shooting department, scoring the most goals.
Vultures’ Joseann Antoine was named the competition’s Most Valuable Player.
The other teams which sought honours were BA Strikers, Caesar’s Realty Dynamic Girls and VSports Youths.
