Bequia XI extends unbeaten run in first division cricket

Keegan’s Bequia XI had a 90-run win over Corea’s Distribution Belfongo, at the Buccament Playing Field, to extend their unbeaten run in the National Lotteries Authority first division.

Bequia XI posted 305 for 8 in 42 overs. Dan Williams stroked 110, while Jarell Edwards scored 73 not out.

Rajiv Roberts had 2 for 46, bowling for Blefongo.

In response, Belfongo made 215 all out, with Andre Hunte scoring 49. Jenry Ollivierre scalped 3 for 36 and Chelson Stowe, 3 for 37, to be Bequia XI’s most successful bowlers.

Similarly unbeaten, Pollard Investments North Windward Combine added another win, with a nine-wicket win over Victors Two.

Playing at Arnos Vale Two, Victors Two managed 113 all out in 32.1 overs. Leon Quashie led with 30.

Dean Browne captured 5 for 30.
Dean Browne (54) and his brother, Shem, who made 55 not out, belted North Windward Combine to 114 for 1, in just 5.2 overs.

And, Strike Eagles overcame St. Vincent Distillers Glamorgan by six wickets at Stubbs. St. Vincent.

Glamorgan were dismissed for 86 in 24.3 overs. Chris Humphrey took 3 for 14 and Keron Roberts, 3 for 18.

Strike Eagles replied with 88 for 4 from 15 overs. Delon Woodley scored 32 not out.
