SVGSA to host six championships in 2020

The executive of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Squash Association (SVGSA) will this year host six local championships at the National Squash Centre at Paul’s Avenue.

First to serve off will be the St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) junior open carded February 21 to 23, with the national junior championships slated for March 20 and 21.

The month of April will see two championships being staged: the national doubles, April 6 to 9 and the junior graded championships, April 22 to 25.

Meanwhile, May 18 to 23 are the dates set aside for the senior national championships and the Independence Championships in October, on dates to be determined.

Apart from the local championships, SVG will send a team to the XXXX junior Caribbean Championships in Hamilton , Bermuda, July 19 to 25 and the XXVI senior Caribbean Championships, in Kingston, Jamaica, August 15 to 23.

Other overseas championships listed on the SVGSA’s calendar include the Antigua Invitational, May 29 to June 1; the Barbados Olympic Association Independence open and the Barbados junior open in November, along with the Pan American junior Championships in El Salvador, July 4 to 11, as well as the Pan American seniors September 13 to 19 in Bolivia.
