Competition heating up in the Inter-Secondary School Netball championship

The Thomas Saunders and Buccament Bay Secondary Schools earned victories, while St. Joseph’s Convent Marriaqua, and Emmanuel High School, Mesopotamia, played to a draw, in the Inter-Secondary Schools Netball competition on Tuesday.

In the junior division, Emmanuel High and St. Joseph’s Convent played to a 14-all finish at the Cane End Hard Court.

At the Keartons Hard Court, Buccament Bay Secondary beat Troumaca Ontario 19-16, while Thomas Saunders had a narrow 7 to 4 win over the Bishop’s College Kingstown, at the Kingstown Netball Centre.
In the lone senior division match, also at the Kingstown Netball Centre, Thomas Saunders had an easy time with Bishop’s College, beating them, 27-5.

The next games will be on Thursday in the junior division, when Emmanuel High School, Mesopotamia, takes on St. Joseph’s Convent, Kingstown, and West St. George Secondary plays against the St. Joseph’s Convent, Marriaqua, at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex.

At the same time, at the Kingstown Netball Centre, the junior and senior teams of The Mountain View Adventist Academy, will travel to meet the Dr. J. P. Eustace Memorial at the Kingstown Netball Centre.
