Blue Chip Inter-Academy basketball championships bounce off
The second annual Blue Chip Inter-Academy basketball championships bounced off on Saturday 27th April at the Calliaqua hard court.
Making first impressions were defending champion Rising Stars and Shell Shockers.
Picking up from where they left off in the inaugural championships last year, Rising Stars got the better of Hoopsters 49-45.
For Rising Stars, Kristy Bailey had 13 points and Reon Ollivierre, 12, while Jermaine John registered 13 points for Hoopsters.
And, Shell Shockers had 38-26 win over Mavrix. For Shell Shockers Ewansie Penniston scored 18 points and Hosea De Freitas scored 9 points for Mavrix.
Heatwave is the other competing team.
