United Survivors, Ball Burners set Greiggs women’s 10/ 10 final

Defending champions of the Hairoun/ FLOW/ Sea Operations Nar Fren Dem Greiggs women’s 10/10 softball cricket competition, United Survivors, will have another crack at the title.

United Survivors booked their ticket to the final with a 44-run triumph over Hairoun Brewery North Leeward, at the competition’s venue, the Greiggs Central Playing Field.

Samantha Lynch, 62 not out, and Cordel Jack, 40 not out, powered United Survivors to 108 for no loss, as the two batted all 10 overs.

In response, North Leeward could only reach 64 for 5 from their 10 overs. Sharia Williams topscored with15.

United Survivors’ opponents in the final, Ball Burners, beat Sea Operations Nar Fren Dem on Sunday.

Ball Burners batted first and scored 94 for 3 from their 10 overs. Edelyn Turtin led with 39.

Nar Fren Dem’s reply was 55 for 4 from their 10 overs. Hazelann Foster scored 14, as Ball Burners won by 39 runs.
