TSSS teacher off to represent SVG at IOA

LaRissa John, a teacher at the Thomas Saunders Secondary School (TSSS) and a member of the National Olympic Academy (NOA), the education arm of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Olympic Committee, left the State Thursday, June 14, to attend this year’s edition of the International Olympic Association (IOA) Session for Young Participants.

At the IOA, John, along with participants from the 205 National Olympic Committees from around the world, will be attending lectures on the history and values of the International Olympic Movement, The numerous participants are also expected to engage in cultural exchanges.

On her return, John is expected to continue to work with the NOA in the planning and execution of its education programme, going forward.
