System 3 champs national under-14 football

The System 3 clan added another national football title to its growing collection, with the Under-14 trophy, the latest one.

An uncomplicated 4-1 win over arch-rivals Avenues United, last Saturday at the Campden Park Playing Field, installed System 3 as the champions.

As early as the 3rd minute-, Kareem Davis opened System 3’s account, and he added his second four minutes later.

Avenues replied in the 28th minute, through Teron Gabriel.

But double strikes by the competition’s top goal scorer Oryan Velox thwarted any thoughts of an Avenues comeback.

Velox scored in the 50th and 61st minutes, to take his tally to 10 goals.

While System 3 was champing the division, SV United was securing the third place at the Brighton Playing Field.

A 2-1 disposal of Sparta FC, handed SV United the third place.

SV United goals were scored in the 3rd minute by Jefren Collis and in the 60th minute by Emmi Balcombe, while Sparta’s goal was scored by Akaleus Charles in the 11th minute.

SV United was thrashed by Avenues 5-0 in the semi-finals and Sparta lost to System 3 one-nil.

The Under-14 division was part of the national club championships of the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation.
