Obed Mc Coy in West Indies B team for Global T20

Vincentian left-arm fast bowler Obed Mc Coy has been included in a West Indies B team for the inaugural Global T20 Canada Cricket League, which will run from June 28 to July 15, 2018.

Mc Coy, 21, is among the 14-member team, which is captained by Guyanese Anthony Bramble.

Others included are Fabian Allen, Derval Green, Brandon King (Jamaica), Alick Athanaze, Kavem Hodge (Dominica), Roland Cato (Grenada), Justin Greaves, Shamar Springer (Barbados), Jeremiah Louis (St Kitts and Nevis), Khary Pierre, Nicholas Pooran (Trinidad and Tobago) and Sherfane Rutherford (Guyana).

Meanwhile, another Vincentian, Physiotherapist Denis Byam, is part of the management team. Stuart Williams – Coach; Roderick Estwick – Coach, Cyril Cox – Strength and Conditioning Trainer and Trent Sargeant – Analyst, complete the management team.

Apart from the West Indies B team, the five other franchises are the Toronto Nationals, Vancouver Knights, Winnipeg Hawks, Montreal Tigers and the Edmonton Royals.

Vincentian Kesrick Williams has been drafted by the Toronto Nationals.
