SVGFF second division reaches quarter finals

The quarter finalists in the St Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation’s (SVGFF) second division competition have been decided.

Emerging from Zone A are BESCO Pastures, Avenues United, North Leeward Predators and Largo Height and from Zone B, are System Three, SV United, Je Belle and Pride and Joy.

The match ups are BESCO Pastures versus Pride and Joy; Avenues United opposes Je Belle, SV United against North Leeward Predators and System three faces Largo Height.

The positions in Zone A were crystalised on Sunday with the final match that featured System Three and SV United.

System Three blanked SV United 5-0 at the Brighton Playing Field.

Aaron Collis scored in the 4th, 18th and 34th minutes, while Jaron Dopwell netted in the 7th and Chad Haynes in the 62nd, to complete System Three’s rout.

The other competing teams which did not qualify for the play off were Bequia United and Camdonia – Chelsea from Zone B and Sion Hill and Hope International from Zone A.

The second division features the development teams from the 12 teams in the premier division of the national club championships.
