FLOW Radcliffe on the double in national 20/20 cricket

FLOW Radcliffe had double wins on the weekend in the National Lotteries Authority Neil Williams 20/20 cricket competition, bettering their position in Group B.

On Saturday at Arnos Vale Two, FLOW Radcliffe beat Police One by five runs.

Richie Richards struck 64, as FLOW Radcliffe posted 148 all out in 18.1 overs.

The top bowler for Police One was Kemrick Westfield, who took 2 for 19.

Police One’s response halted at 143 from 19 overs.

Parnel Browne hit 32 and Gosnel Cupid, 29, but it was the 33 extras that mainly aided Police One’s reply.

Othniel Lewis snared 3 for 14 and Lindon James had 2 for 27, bowling for FLOW Radcliffe.

On Sunday, FLOW Radcliffe returned to the same venue and registered a 21-run win over Providence Electronic Solutions North Leeward.

FLOW Radcliffe – 129 off 19.4 overs. Romano Pierre scored 50 and Lindon James. 24. Elson Saunders took 2 for 8, Winston Samuel 2 for 17, Donald Delpesche 2 for 21.

North Leeward – 108 off 18.2-overs; Elron Lewis, 36; Othneil Lewis, 3 for 8, Delorn Johnson, 3 for 30, Lindon James, 2 for 7.

But North Leeward rebounded to saw off Strike Eagles by 126 runs.

North Leeward – 177 off 19-overs; Donald Delpesche, 44, Shamon Hooper, 29, Kenny Stapleton, 24; Javid Wilson, 4 for 41, Julius Shortte, 3 for 48.

Strike Eagles – 51 of 10.1 overs; Donald Delpesche, 5 for 20, Shamon Hooper, 3 for 6.    
            
Also on Sunday, there were victories for Keegan’s Bequia X1, Victors One and French Verandah R.W Sporting World St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College.
Keegan’s Bequia X1 defeated Strike Eagles by 111 runs at Stubbs.

Keegan’s Bequia X1 – 173 off 20 overs; Dean Browne, 63, Shem Browne, 27, Braxie Browne, 24; Julius Shortte, 3 for 11, Javid Wilson, 33, Darry Haywood, 2 for 35.

In reply, Strike Eagles – 63 off 14.2 overs; Dean Browne, 5 for 17, Leon Quashie, 2 for 16.

At Sion Hill, Victors One beat Triumph’s United by 97 runs.

Victors One amassed 247 for 6 off 20 overs; Christroy John, 65, Atticus Browne, 56, Tilron Harry, 53 not out, Kieron Cottoy, 34; Kanarka Smith had 2 for 36.

Triumph’s United – 150 for 6 off 20 overs; Rangel Small, 56 not out, Keroy Roberts, 31, Ronald Jack, 22; Keron Cottoy picked up 2 for 24.

And finally, French Verandah R.W Sporting World St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College won by default from Radcliffe Too.
