Two Vincentians named Top Wicket Takers in Windward Islands Under-15  tourney

Vincentians Luke Wilson and Coby Dabreo were the joint Top Wicket Takers in the just concluded Winlott Inc Windward Islands Under-15 Cricket Tournament, which was hosted here in St Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). Both finished on 16 wickets.

Taking the award for the Most Runs Scored in the tournament was Ackeem Auguste of St Lucia, who amassed 268, inclusive of two centuries.

Auguste compiled his runs from six innings, with one not out; he finished on an average of 53.6.

Copping the Best Wicket-keeper award was Divonie Joseph of Grenada. Joseph had 11 dismissals to his name

Meanwhile the MVPs of each of the four participating countries were also acknowledged .

Awarded were Neo Davis – Dominica ; Kervyn Gangadeen – Grenada, Ackeem Auguste – St Lucia and Luke Wilson – St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Grenada emerged as champions, ahead of St Lucia – second. Third were St Vincent and the Grenadines and Dominica- fourth.(RT)
