‘Young Gunz’ – winners of GSS Sports Club Beach Volleyball

Last Friday, October 27, 2017, Independence Day, the Georgetown Secondary School (GSS) Sports Club held its inaugural Beach Volleyball Competition.

Six teams competed for the grand prize of $150, a donation made by the Saint Vincent Cocoa Company. Young Gunz, a team made up of past students of the Georgetown Secondary School and national players Asmond Franklyn, Renaldo Franklyn, Bevin Henry and Leonardo Franklyn, took the first place prize, while Rumbos were second and collected $75. GSS 1 came home third and received $50.

George Stephens Senior Secondary School, Christians and GSS 2 also participated in the event.
