Phillips, Matthews lead Greiggs Softball statistics

The Sea Operations Nar Fren Dem duo of Ceon Phillips and Keno Matthews led the batting and bowling respectively, following the conclusion of the preliminary round of the SVG Brewery/ FLOW/Sea Operations Nar Frem Dem Greiggs Softball Cricket Competition.

Phillips scored 249 runs, but was trailed by Desron Maloney from RSVG Police, who amassed 230 runs from his outings. They were closely followed by Lenroy Dalzell of  Street Fighters, with 221.

Meanwhile, Matthews collected 11 wickets from his stint; Wesrick Straugh of Country Meet Town Outa Trouble Family had 9 wickets; so too did Romano Peters of Bruce Law Chambers Smashers Inc.

 Ron Adams – Bank of SVG All Starz, Winston Holder – Warriors CC,  Malcovin Jack – RSVG Police, Keithlyn Williams – Challengers,  Rondell Munroe – Owia Young Strikers, Okeiph Andrews – Shop For Less Clinchers One and Shamic Roberts – Sion Hill Tallawahs all had 8 wickets credited to their names.

The competition has reached its round of 16, which starts the knockout phase.

Through to the last 16 are defending champions Owia Young Strikers, Outa Trouble Family, Sion Hill Tallawahs and Caesar’s Defenders, from Zone One.

Qualifying from Zone Two are Sea Operations Nar Fren Dem, RSVG Police, Bank of SVG All Starz and Dr Thomas Injectors, with Gairy’s Construction Simple Boyz, Shop For Less Clinchers One, Bruce Law Chambers Smashers Inc and Challengers advancing from Zone Three.

The round of 16 qualifiers is completed by Street Fighters, CGM Gallagher Novice, Fully Loaded and Shop For Less Clinchrers Two.
